Good Evening Facebook Friends. This post is really for those friends who play GOLF ⛳️ I get invited every year to a very special charity Golf Day in Kent on a really nice Golf course, It’s a fantastic day with a wonderful barbecue but more importantly it’s a wonderful charity for terminal sick children’s charity they do a great work and it’s such a good cause, It’s £90 each for the whole day includes breakfast/ Coffee, Golf and barbecue after. My team consists of a 4 ball and unfortunately one of the players is away who normally plays in my team. it’s on Friday 21st of June and I am looking for one Player to join us! Message me if you can join us it really is a great day of Golf and Banter..😊⛳️

So Maaya Indian Kitchen & Bar proudly sponsor this fantastic Maaya Milton Keynes Cricket team called “Maaya Tigers 🐅” which is also sponsored by MURADstyling.com. So they played their 8th Match in the Global LMS league which is played around the world with live scores on your phone. Tigers were playing on Monday 11th of July vs Blazers and Stallions Utd in the Buckinghamshire division. Chris King the captain lost the toss as Blazers decided to bat first, They got of to a flyer as they were 60 runs for no wicket after 5 overs. But this Tigers 🐅 bowling attack is one the best in the business and they soon got back and got rid of the openers and dried up the runs once they got rid of their openers. Blazers all out in for 121 in 19.1 overs. Bowling figures for May Tigers 🐅 were; His first game for the team Dominic Pritchard bowled superbly with control 4 overs for only 22 runs and 1 wicket, Ejaz Ahmed in his 2nd match for team bowled superbly with good line and length 4 overs for only 19 runs I maiden and 1 wicket, James Wagg as always very reliable 4 overs for 21 runs and 1 wicket, Yasir Ali Hashmi not at his best as normally he is lethal normally with his mesmerising spin just didn’t get going on the night 3 overs for 43 runs. Well the captain came on at the end to take all the glory and bowled a unbelievable spell of slow bowling 2.1 overs for only 5 runs and 3 wickets. Vinodh Kumar as always bowled with venom and intent 2 overs for only 8 runs and 1 wicket and getting rid of their dangerous opener.

Tigers opening batsman captain Chris king and Chris Timms went in to bat.. A good six by Chris Timms 14 runs of 7 balls S/R 200 before he was bowled, As normal Chris King continued in his normal Joe Root style batting some nice fours and majestic stroke play and quick running between the wickets with Riz Alam scored a wonderful 52 runs of 25 balls including 8 fours S/R 208 not out , Riz Alam a solid 39 runs of 26 balls not out and some really quick running making 1’s into 2’s and putting the filders under pressure S/R of 150, Yasir 8 runs of 4 balls not out S/R of 200 as the batsman got the job done in no time 122 runs of only 12 overs won by 7 wickets and 8 overs to spare!!

MAN OF THE MATCH : Chris King

On to the next crucial match and top of the table clash vs Aylesbury Outlaws who are 2nd behind Maaya Tigers 🐅 and like Tigers are unbeaten in the Division. The match is to be played at Stewkley Cricket Ground on Monday 18th July at 6pm.. this match promises to be a cracker as both sides are in form and both have good bowling and batting attacks. 💪

Maaya Indian Kitchen & Bar and MURADstyling.com proudly sponsor Maaya Tigers T20 cricket team who played there 7th match of the season in the Global T20 Cricket League in the Buckinghamshire Division vs Safran Sharkz on Wednesday 6th of July. Chris king the captain lost the toss and Safran elected to bat but Tigers have a good bowling attack. One of the Tigers players had to pull out due to sickness and the team Manager Muz Murad and had to step in to play after not having played cricket for 8 years carrying injures !! However Safran managed a good score of 163 runs for loss of 5 wickets of their 20 overs,pick of the bowlers for Tigers 🐅 were Rhys Nickolas 4 overs for 29 runs and two
Wickets. Vinodh Kumar 4 overs for only 17 runs and 2 wickets. Yasir Ali Hashmi 4 overs for 37 runs, Josh 3 overs for 18 runs, Chris king 2 overs for 23 runs, New signing Ejaz 2 overs for 21 runs, Muzhar Murad 1 over for 14 runs as Safran finished on good 163 runs for 5 wickets in 20 Overs.

Maaya Tigers openers Chris King and Rhys Nickolas went into bat and these two very talented young batsman pushed 1’s and 2’s hitting bad balls for 4’s to keep the score ticking over !! Chris King 50 runs not out of 29 balls strike rate of 172.41 and Rhys Nickolas 50 runs not out of 24 balls and 8 fours at a strike rate of 212.50. Man of the match Vinodh Kumar smashing 50 runs of 22 balls including five 4’s and two 6’s with the strike rate of 227.27. As the stunning players polished of the runs in no time as Maaya tigers finished on 164 runs for loss of only 1 wicket In only 15.5 overs as Tigers won comfortably by 7 wickets. Played 7 and won 7 sitting nicely top of the division 🎉👏😊👍

Maaya Tigers 🐅 T20 Cricket team proudly sponsored by the best Indian restaurant in MK Maaya Indian Kitchen & Bar and MURADstyling.com played their 6th Match in the LMS Global league in the Buckinghamshire Division on 28th of June vs Stewkley Cricket Club. Captain Chris king lost the toss and tigers were put in to bat on a very tough spongy all weather wicket and the Tiggers openers Chris King and Rhys Nicholas struggled to get the ball away but kept pushing singles and 2’s before Rhys got caught and bowled as the deliver held up for 14 runs, Chris king carried on as usual 36 of 32 runs before being caught. Then came in the In form Yasir Ali Hashmi and scored a magnificent 50 runs of 30 balls three 4’s and three 6’s one absolutely massive 6! Strike rate of 166.67, Yasir certainly came in at the right time to push the score as Did Darran Gillions a welcome return to the team after a long lay off 23 runs of 15 balls ! As Tigers 🐅 finished on 152 runs for loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs.

Once again Tigers 🐅 bowlers prove they are superb and top class.. they squeezed Stewkley batsmen and dried up their runs but it was a close game as Stewkley kept up with the run rate but the real difference was in the middle where Rizwan bowled a wonderful spell 4 overs for 23 runs and 2 wickets, Yasir Hashmi was devastating once again with his magic spell of bowling 4 overs for only 21 runs varied every delivery so cleverly.. Strike opening bowler James Wagg was on fire 🔥 with pace 4 overs for 20 runs and 1 wicket. Stewkley were bowled out for 134 runs in 19.4 overs as Tigers won by 18 runs.

As Tigers rap up another victory played 6 and won 6 and top of the Division. Amazing effort from this fantastic squad of players full of raw talent.

Maaya Tigers T20 Cricket team played their 5th Match in the LMS Global cricket league on 20th of June vs MKS Kings CC. Captain Chris King won the toss and batted first as him self and welcome back return to the team of Chris Timms after a year opened the batting. Both openers laid a solid foundation pick up 1’s and 2’s and putting the bad balls away for 4’s. In form Chris Timms was magnificent with the bat a cracked a brilliant 54 runs of 23 balls including a lovely 6 at strike rate of 234.78. Chris king hitting 42 runs of 33 balls strike rate of 127.27 before being bowled. In form Vinodh Kumar coming in and smacking a sensational 48 runs of 19 balls strike rate of 252.63 with three big 6’s and unfortunately getting out caught. As Tigers 🐅 finished on a respectable score of 178 of 19.3 overs.

Maaya Tigers bowling attack is 1st class and they feel confident of defending any score as they did here. James Wagg opened the bowling for Tigers bowled well 4 overs for for 37 runs and 1 wicket. Josh Hobson 4 overs for 39 runs, Man of the moment Yasir Ali Hashmi bowled lovely Brand of Spin 4 overs for 25 runs and 1 wicket. Man of the match and in such good form Vinodh Kumar 4 over of pace for only 22 runs I wicket as the match became close at the end however tigers won it by 9 runs and man of the match was Vinodh Kumar. Kings finished on 129 runs for 4 after the match
