What is the Kanter?
A friendly monthly 4km handicapped race
Basically, slowest starts first, fastest starts last, and everyone should finish around the same time, so everyone has an equal chance of winning
League points are based on your finishing position
There are 5 races and your top 4 results count towards the trophy
There are top top prizes to be won!
The course is 2 1/3 laps anticlockwise.
There is plenty of parking around the Teardrop Lakes and here is a link to the nearest car park (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Bu8kKoXUegG7AfDSA). There are plenty of other places if you can’t get in there.

Hi all,
Update on the clubs 2027 London marathon place(s)..
The club will not receive confirmation on the number of places that we will have until the 31st October.
Mid October I will start collecting rejection emails from those that would like to go into the ballot for the club places… and will do the draw early November.

Well done to Vince Julier and Dave Newens who ran 10k at the Bedford Autodrome
Vince Julier (pictured) set a new personal best, finishing eighth in the Bedford Running Festival. He was the first M60 to finish.

Dave Newens was the first M80 to finish.
