Tottenham 2 Aston Villa 3 - The first thing I think is we need to stick with De Zerbi to allow him time to get this squad on the right track. OK so a few things went against us, just as simular things happened last season. We didn't need Poro to go off injured in the first half and Gray stepped up, we should have got a penalty and the ref was obviously blind. I also think Mings knew Van de Ven was behind his as they jumped and the elbow was delibirate. Handy for Villa our best defender was off getting treatment. Kinsky has to take the blame for the 2nd but if you allow a player room near your box without closing him down then your be punished as we were for their 3rd. We got two back but two little too late plus one disallowed. And to prove my point regarding the ref being poor, I picked this statement up from the Aston Villa supporters web site, " Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Hackett said: "Gomes has clearly pushed his opponent, Fernandes, with sufficient force that puts him off balance and he goes to ground. "A push of this nature is a clear offence and a penalty kick should have been awarded." It doesn't get more clear-cut than that as it appears Villa and Gomes have got away with one in the capital. But as far as Match of the day goes, it didn't happen.
I can't help the impression that Shearer has a real dislike for Spurs. Next game away Manchester United 10th October 17:30KO. COYS

Liverpool 3 Tottenham 1 - Can't say I was too surprised with the result (we don't do well against Liverpool do we) seeing our forwards have and are struggling to score, but our we were still in the game at 2-1 and there were a lot of positives. Bergvall was for me our best player taking the game to Liverpool, both he and Gray giving 100%, but I still can't decide if Tel has a future at Tottenham. A couple of good chances in the first half and we obviously had missed Kudus, Marmoush does a lot of running but no result at the end. The introduction of Robertson had a big impact and I'm liking his runs on the wings more and more. I felt we missed Micky van de Ven at the back. Gallagher's goal (our first this season against a premier league team) was welcome but possible too little too late. Next game Saturday Home to Aston Villa 12;30KO. COYS

Nottingham Forrest 0 Tottenham 0 - A point we got a point, much better in terms of the result, but still massive improvements needed and soon. Marmoush could have had two, I'm sure he will improve. Defence much better, but van Hecke looks like he's struggling. Forrests goal was rightly disallowed for handball. I watched match of the day last night and the player described that his hands were raised for a reason, and from what I can see intentional or not still hand ball. According to a talksports host (mostlikely a West Ham or Arsenal fan) last night he claimed Forrest should of had a penalty because Bentancur brought down a Forrest attacker, well it's a physical contact sport, two players both going for the ball, so he had a hand on the players back, so what. I sence a lot of people are angry because we didn't go down last season and then spent a huge amount in the transfer window. Next game home to Everton. COYS
