If someone tells you there’s only ONE way to eat, train, or live… 🚩

We’ve seen it before.

A few years ago, the carnivore wave hit hard.
“Fruit is toxic.”
“Vegetables are harmful.”
“Only eat animal products.”

Fast forward… and now?
Those same voices are reintroducing fruit, veg, and balance.

Funny how that works.

I’m not saying meat is bad. Far from it.
But when anyone pushes extremes and dismisses everything else—that’s not education, that’s ideology.

Your body isn’t a trend.
Your health isn’t a marketing strategy.

There are MANY ways to get fitter, stronger, healthier.
The key is finding what works for YOU—and what you can sustain long term.

And let’s not forget…

There is nothing wrong with that.

But the real goal of training should be capability.

To be stronger.
To be fitter.
To be faster.
To have the energy to run around with your kids.
To play sport.
To move well.
To stay healthy as you get older.

To build a body that works for you.

Aesthetics are just a byproduct of that process.

Train to be something.
Train to be an instrument.
Not an ornament.

Excuses

There are very few people who genuinely don’t have the time to exercise and prepare good food.

Very few.

Most of us do have the time.

What we lack is discipline and consistency.

Don’t let excuses win.
They lie to you.
They keep you stuck exactly where you are.

There is so much more to fitness than fat loss.

Yes, body fat might go down.
Yes, the scales might move.

But that’s not the whole story.

Can you lift more than you could three months ago?
Can you now do a full bodyweight push-up?
A pull-up?
Run your first 5K?

Can you take the stairs without getting out of breath?
Run around with your kids without needing a nap?

That’s progress.

How you look is one element.
How you feel.
What you can do.
How capable you are.

That’s what really matters.

Fat loss is often just the by-product of getting stronger, fitter, and healthier.

Measure what you can do — not just what you weigh.

FITNESS IS SIMPLE

To me fitness and health is simple. Now this video is a bit more specific to me but the principles are the same no matter what.

Lift weights
Do your cardio
Eat good food
Recover
Hydrate
Walk lots

This is as simple as it gets. Throw in some hobbies and you’re onto a winner. Health and fitness isn’t complex. You just have to do the basics and reap the amazing rewards.

DO CALORIES MATTER FOR WEIGHT LOSS?

Yes. They do.

A calorie deficit is not a diet.
It’s a biological process.

If you consume fewer calories than your body needs, it uses stored energy (body fat).
If you consume more than you need, you store energy (body fat).

That’s physiology. Not opinion.

Now — while a calorie is a calorie in terms of energy balance, food quality absolutely matters for:

• Performance
• Recovery
• Hormones
• Micronutrients
• Long-term health

Calories drive fat loss.
Food quality drives health.

If you see someone claiming “weight loss isn’t about calories,” there’s usually a product attached to that message.

You don’t have to track calories.

But you do have to create a deficit.

That might look like:
• Tracking intake
• Portion control
• Higher protein
• Cutting liquid calories
• Eating whole foods
• Increasing activity

Different tools. Same principle.

Find a method you can stick to.

Consistency > complexity.
