MK Speederz U15s and U17s played their first pre-season friendly against Oxford Hoops this Saturday. A brand new line up with players of mixed game experiences but great camaraderie. We look forward to the season ahead.

Yesterday we hosted our first U11 and U9s basketball tournament. Bringing in teams from Oxford, Northampton and our own Dragons, a fantastic time was had by kids and parents. It was the first tournament for our U9s who learnt to win and lose with grace. Thank you to all the wonderful teams and volunteers. Also to Milton Keynes Community Foundation for sharing March Madness which helped to make this happen. Not only a great experience but also to help build essential bridges with other community teams.

Exciting news! Due to the increase in popularity of the Women’s Sunday skills sessions, we have decided to add a weeknight evening as a trial for women. This will be held on Tuesday 7-9pm from 24th June at Walton High, Brooklands Campus. The session will focus on skills incorporated with team play and understanding the game of basketball. If anyone is interested please message.
