Well done to all of those who made the effort to attend the Black&Brown belt training today lead by Alan Campbell Sensei, followed by a kumite session lead by Matt Price Sensei.
After the training some of our students took their Shodan grading and I am proud to say they were all successful.

The countdown has officially hit 100 days until the Commonwealth Karate Championships 2026 arrive in Glasgow!

From 5–8 November, athletes, coaches, officials and supporters from across the Commonwealth will come together at the Emirates Arena for four incredible days of international karate.

This is more than another competition.

It’s the 12th edition of the Commonwealth Karate Championships — a celebration of elite performance, national pride, friendship and the shared values of our sport.

Congratulations Adam for a well deserved place on the Midlands Regional EKNGB Team at the upcoming President's Cup - the next step on your karate journey. Oss 👊👊👊

After years of hard work, training, competing, a lot of ups and downs, Kennedy has achieved one of his main ambitions, to compete for his country. Congratulations to Kennedy who has been selected to compete for England at the Commonwealth Games later this year.
I can’t say how proud I am of his achievement!
There’s quite a few people to thank for helping him on his way, you know who you are, thank you 🙏

Great effort by Kennedy today at the Series A in Guadalajara, Mexico. Reaching the quarter finals with some really tough fights along the way, showing great skill, determination and grit. Big thanks to Jordan for coaching him through his fights.
