Hedge cutting season starts soon 26-27

We are available to assist with your very overgrown hedges whether big or small!.
We have a 7meter Spearhead VR for bigger hedges, or a 3.2 metre for smaller and finer hedges.

All our machinery is supported by our workshop with mobile service and repair if required.

With our renovations coming to the end we are busy cutting grass with our fleet of Dennis Pro Mowers.

All pitches are cut with pedestrian mowers to reduce impact on the new surface.

We have carried out some rough grass cutting grounds work on a new build school.

This will assist with new grass growth and leave a positive impression on site.
Nothing like unmanageable grass and weeds to make a area feel like it’s a building site still!

Efficient and all done in a timely manner.

Today’s sports ground markings start in Birmingham!

Sports days are all on in most schools and what great weather we have for them too…

All pitches are perfectly aligned and painted.

All grass is cut and @ 25mm.

We have beautiful green grass..

No gaps in growth!!
No expensive fertiliser program to maintain or correct poor renovation practices!!

Over the next few weeks we will be reducing the grass height to play length. Followed by line marking..

Our Dennis pro cut mowers will be the only mowers allowed on the new pitch…no ride on machinery allowed!🏐⚽️

Football renovations 26-27

Germination sheets the best way to get grass to grow quickly in a short time.

We don’t have a lot of time before the new season start again..

Once these sheets come off the Dennis pro mowers will start the real work…

We avoid ride on machinery on every new pitch as this will increase pressure on the ground and stress the grass. The new grass will need time to strengthen and thicken up..

Local football pitch renovation advice 2026-27

Sand base pitches are very expensive to maintain and are not advised for local football clubs.

We maintain a number of sand based football pitches and can confirm the maintenance costs are not for the faint hearted!!⚽️⚽️

While sand can be relatively cheap to buy and will fill holes ect…
A few photos below will show you how difficult it is to maintain from
Yellow grass, no growth in areas, patchy growth.

And you Must subscribe to a fertiliser program to continue the grass grows and stays green!

For all our local grass roots football facilities we Don’t use heavy sand based products.
We focus on easy maintenance after renovations with low maintenance and high grass growth. No high maintenance feeds and specific maintenance requirements!

Initial costs are super important when we quote for renovations and realistic maintenance costs once we leave.
