☀️What a fantastic day at Holiday Camp today!

Despite the 32-degree heat, the children had an amazing time and were absolute superstars throughout the day 🌞

We made sure everyone stayed safe and cool by:
💧 Having lots of water breaks with cold jugs of water from the fridge to keep bottles refreshed
🌳 “Shade bathing” as the children brilliantly described it 😄
🌀 Using the hall with multiple industrial fans kindly provided by Mr Cox
🍦 Enjoying ice pops in the afternoon
⛱️ Making the most of the fabulous shaded areas around the beautiful grounds at Loughton School

Even with the heat, we still managed to enjoy:
🏏 Cricket with regular shade breaks
🏐 Dodgeball away from direct sunlight
💃 Dance routine challenges
🛝 Free play on the equipment
😁 Lots of laughter, teamwork and fun

We are very pleased to see a cooler forecast tomorrow, which means we can enjoy even more sporty activities! ⚽🏃‍♀️

We welcomed some new faces today alongside some returning PowerPlay children – it was great to see everyone getting involved. The sunshine made an appearance too, giving us the perfect opportunity to enjoy tag rugby, pickleball, tennis, football and basketball.

We’re really looking forward to our final day together on Thursday before we return for May half term.

It’s not too late to book on for Thursday – a fantastic way to wrap up the holidays with a day full of active fun!
