We recruit and train outdoor instructors every year at Colomendy, it’s the perfect gateway to a career in the great outdoor industry and an opportunity for you to realise your full potential.

You’ll inspire, coach and mentor hundreds of young people in the art of adventure. No experience is necessary, just a passion for working with young people. Inspiring them to learn in the outdoors. The site is 130 acres in area of outstanding natural beauty - yes there are hills!

We will be running induction programmes in April & May 2024

Our season is April/May – End of July.

• £12.00 per Hour. Flexi contract 20/40 hrs.
• Full training and induction.
• Outdoor uniform provided.
• Accommodation and meal package available for £280 per month.

We are looking for some happy smiley people to join our Guest Service Team here at Colomendy. You'll be the public face and first point of contact for the thousands of guests who visit each year.....

Guest Service Co-ordinator

Salary: £9.50 per Hr ( £10.42 from April 23).

Location: Kingswood Colomendy, Mold

Job purpose

To conduct all necessary administration duties for the efficient operation of the Customer Services Department on centre. You will also be required to assist the Customer Service Manager in everything required to maximise Re-bookings (Rbos) potential; dealing with all customer enquiries and concerns professionally, effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
•Ensure all groups have completed the required pre-visit paperwork and this has been communicated to relevant departments.
•Complete room allocations and send out to all visitors, together with their timetable, ensuring company 4 week target deadline is met.
•Process and file – Emails/Post from/to the schools,
•Make Pre-arrival courtesy calls to all groups, and log all contact in the appropriate places.
•Prepare Group Leader Packs, Key’s and Visitor Passes prior to each Group’s arrival.
•Compile feedback summaries to pass on to all departments.
•Ensure numbers of guests are confirmed on arrival and sent to Admin weekly.
•Assist with Teacher entertainments, welcome meetings, feedback meetings and daily contact with school’s as required by CAM

•Ability and confidence to communicate with people at all levels

•Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Programme Administrator

Are you an experienced administrator with strong customer service skills? Are you looking to do something a little different? Why not join our Activities Department and be a core function of our team as our Programme Administrator and work at our outdoor adventure centre?

About the role:

You will collaborate closely with the Activities Team and other important stakeholders as our programme administrator to plan, design, and produce efficient staff and programme rotas to support the overall ex*****on of the Kingswood experience.

This role is offered on a full-time basis, working varied 5 days over the 7-day week, therefore, weekend work is required.

About you:

You will be efficient in using IT and Microsoft Office suits
Great communication skills, both written and verbal
Eye for detail and a team player
Staff-focussed approach to rota management
Ideally you will be first aid trained and hold a full U.K driving license

KINGSWOOD COLOMENDY DOES MOVEMBER!

Some of our bold men on centre have decided to brave the cold and go bare faced to raise awareness for men's health. From the 1st November they have all clean shaved and are all embarking on their moustache journey arm in arm!

Su***de is the biggest cause of death in men under the age of 50 and around 3 out of 4 deaths from suicides each year are men. With these alarming statistics we have decided to raise money for Mind the mental health charity.
