π Feast of U9s Cricket at Mold
38 U9s players from Mold, Carmel, Northop Hall, Connahs Quay and St Asaph clubs arrived at Mold on Sunday and they served up an absolute feast of cricket.
πͺThere were sixes, fours and sneaky singles. Stumps were clattered, catches were taken, players were run out and there was even a hat-trick ball following two caught and bowled wickets
π€© Lots of fun, laughter, skills development and learning - the future of North Wales Cricket is in good hands based on the performances we saw today.
π«Άπ½ Well done to all players and thanks to the coaches and parents for facilitating a great morning.

πͺ U13s win at home to a strong Connahs Quay.
π€© Wow, what can we say! An outstanding performance tonight to get the win against the previously unbeaten Connahs Quay.
π¬ We always knew this was going to be our toughest test of the season and with some key players missing, the coaches were nervous but we neednβt have been!
π We took regular wickets which were shared between Macs, Harry F, Gethin, Osian! Special mention to Marty who got 2 for 1 off his 2 overs and Jimmy for taking 2 catches behind the stumps!
π We got ahead of the rate early and stayed there. Jimmy made a lovely 11 before getting out and then Harry C (who had a stroke of luck when the ball hit the stumps but didnβt dislodge the bails - never seen that before!) and Macs were brilliant, both just falling short of retirement with Macs 29 and Harry 28.
Harry F continued his good form with an unbeaten 12 and Ozzy hit the winning runs for a 7 wicket win with 4 overs to spare.
ππΌ Well done to everyone, fantastic!!
