Our Diving Officer had a great day on Sunday, helping to deliver underwater survey course, lots of new skills learnt by everyone. A really excellent course for anyone

Today we joined and Southport British Sub Aqua Club at the North West Emergency Recompression Unit on the Wirral.
Fantastic day, very informative and a brilliant experience

Fantastic day at running our practical rescue management course, 6 members of our club and a member from Rhyl SAC and Nottingham SAC took part. We love having other clubs join us on our training days.

1. When did you start diving.

Started diving in 2024

2. ⁠What is your favourite dive so far..

Favourite dive has been diving an underwater pinnacle in Ras il hobz, in Malta. The topography was stunning with life everywhere!

3. ⁠What do you enjoy doing the most.

I love snooping around wrecks and reefs, interacting with the wildlife, wondering what they’re thinking as I pass by.

4. ⁠What has been the most exciting thing you’ve seen or would like to see.

My coolest moment was, snorkelling with a turtle on the Great Barrier Reef. It looked so graceful and at home in its surroundings.

5. Where have you dived and where would you like to dive.

I’ve dived in north wales, Cornwall, Australia and Malta. Would love to dive with seals in Pembrokeshire and the Farne islands, kelp forests or somewhere a bit more off the beaten track like Chile or Zanzibar.

6. How many dives have you done.
