🎣 IMPORTANT BOOKING UPDATE FOR ALL ANGLERS 🎣

To make sure every angler gets a fair shot at a peg during our peak times, we are making a small change to how we take weekend and bank holiday bookings.

Weekends and bank holidays are our absolute busiest times, and we regularly have to turn away anglers because we are fully booked. Sadly, this weekend alone we had 6 no-shows. For a small business like ours, that is a massive blow.

When we get a bit of notice, we can usually refill the pegs, but empty pegs left with zero warning mean both the business and fellow anglers miss out.

Going forward, our updated policy is as follows:
👉 50% Non-Refundable Deposit: Required to secure all Friday and Saturday overnights, as well as Bank Holiday Sundays.
👉 24-Hour Cancellation Notice: If less than 24 hours' notice is given to cancel your slot, the full booking amount will be due.

We completely understand that plans can change! We just kindly ask that you let us know as early as possible so we can offer the spot to someone on our waiting list.

The lake will be closed Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August for a private booking.

We have some pegs become available for tomorrow (Sat 8th) for a 24hr session 4pm-4pm

***MISSING***
We are missing one of our hire cradles.

We had 7 available to hire at only £5 per session. Over the past week number 7 has gone missing. This could be a genuine error when packing away your fishing gear. If you have hired one in the last 7 days please can you check your equipment (it is clearly labelled - lake of tranquility) and if you find you have it please message us or return it to the lake.

Without it there's less available for others to hire and on many occasions all 7 are booked out.

The last thing we want to resort to doing is charging £5 plus the full price of a cradle as a retainer until returned. Or not hiring anymore and only selling them at full price. This would be a shame as we havent been missing any of our cradles so far for the whole of this season.

Pics of the bailiffs... because why not?!

Polite Reminder - please ensure that when fishing with us that you have read the lake rules and that rigs etc are set up accordingly.
Our bailiffs have come across a few anglers recently using barbed hooks and also some with no rig tubing and lack of carp care kit.

If the rig set up is not correct the bailiffs may ask you to stop your session.

Introducing another of our Bailiffs, Martyn.

Martyn joined our bailiff team this season.
With 20+years of fishing experience he has already been helping anglers with rig set ups and advice.
You may see him fishing or just popping down to have a walk round, carrying out rig checks and chatting to the anglers.

Or we also have 24hr pegs available from 8pm once day sessions finish.
