We have added an early morning time slot (6.30-9.30) on the website for those of you that love riding before the day gets going, available whilst the daylight allows.

Who’s been doing a rain dance?! 💦 💃🏻 There’s been about 50 mm of rainfall on the farm over the last few days which has really improved the going on the track 🎉 We have made a start on a small ‘jump zone’ at the end of the route just before you arrive back to your trailer. Designed with kids and green horses in mind 🪵 I would love to hear your thoughts on optional jumps around the route? Let me know in the comments!

Food for thought! The Country Canters route is situated on a working arable farm, this year we are growing wheat, oats and maize. Next time you visit you could be riding past your next loaf of bread 🥖 or bowl of porridge 🥣
You’ll be able to watch the crops grow and ripen as the seasons change 🌱🌾
Over the next couple of weeks we will be bringing in the harvest on the farm, so you may see the combine and tractors working in the distance as you ride 🚜

⛰️ There is a wonderful distant view of the Skirrid mountain from the West side of the farm. Look out for it after the first uphill climb at Country Canters!

🌅 We have listened to requests and added the ability to book an evening slot 5.30-8.30pm on Weds-Fri. This will be during the summer months whilst there is enough light. So once this extreme heatwave is over 🥵 you can enjoy after work/school rides with your best friends 🐴

Hello to all our new followers in the last couple of weeks!! We thought everyone might like some details about the facility.
🅿️ Parking is on an area of hardstanding within a large turning circle to make vehicle manoeuvres easy
🐎 The 2.5 mile route is a minimum of 3 metres wide and is on a mixture of well-topped arable land and mature grassland. There is a short (approx 100m) hard track to start the route off
📍There are direction markers from the parking area and at any changes of direction (see pics), there are white posts along the full route, if you keep these on your right shoulder you won’t get lost!
🚧 No gates for the whole route!! No need to dismount during your ride
📬 After booking you will straight away receive an email with detailed directions, check your junk box!
