One to forget for the lads yesterday in the opening league fixture of the season, as we took a heavy defeat to last years league winners! With Newgate winning 11-1

Scottish Cup game vs Andreou's FC

Losing two early goals made it an up hill battle, with the away striker taking his two chances well. 0-2

Again same as last week a good 20 minute spell got us back into the game with Jack Knocking the ball back for Matt Davies to score via a deflection. 1-2

But moments later the away striker got his hat trick and made it 1-3 just before half time.

The second half was a scrappy affair with androeus adding a 4th goal, from a cut back where the striker finished well. 1-4

In the last few moments a ball down the line from Woody to Dagan, who put the ball across goal for Ethan to slide the ball under the keeper 2-4 full time!

First home game of the season today as we take on Andreous FC in the first round of the Scottish cup.

Today we travelled to Padanaram, Forfar to take on Results Gym FC

With conditions great for football it was a sloppy first 10/15 minutes for the lads. going 1 down with a shot from the edge of the box that took a wicked deflection. In a mad spell of 10 minutes where we found ourselves 3-0 down.

But after that the team got going and began to dominate the game with the first real chance coming from a Murray cross to other winger Matt who did well to out jump his defender but headed over. But with the ball getting knocked about well, we got our first goal back when a long ball into the box was deflected into the path of Baba who headed home past the keeper. 3-1

Moments later Centre back and captain Blair took a couple of touches and unleashed a rocket from 30 yards, which flashed by the keeper with a slight deflection. 3-2 ht

Into the second half and a early injury for debutant Jack who was leading the line very well, was a sucker blow. Followed soon by a knock to Brad who had too also come off.

But the team still had loads of the ball and many chances and on another day should of had more goals, but just the final ball or decision was missing.

Results had couple efforts from the edge of the box but safe hands by Jamie in goal making no mistake with them.

The best effort for the home side was a freekick from the edge of the box, but again Jamie made a good save and keeping it out.

One final moment in stoppage time would come, with the ball bouncing about in the box, Matt was away to find the net. But the defender whipped out Matt.. but decision was remarkably no penalty. Ft3-2

Plenty positives to take from the team today, with some tidy football played. Our next match is at home on Sunday vs Andreous in the Scottish Cup.

Narrow defeat away to Results today, 3-2. report will follow..

The League Cup group stages conclude this weekend with four fixtures.

Mo Ams host Androeus in a winner takes all tie for the remaining qualification spot in Group A.

In Group B with Forfar Ajax having already qualified the three remaining teams in Group B all compete for a place in the semi finals.

Today we travelled to a very windy Johnshaven to take on last years runners up. With them losing some players we still knew this would be a tricky game.

The first 10-20 minutes both teams found the wind hard to play in and couldn’t get any real rhythm into their play.

Johner had a few chances from freekicks at the edge of the box, but none troubled Jamie in goal.

With Scott and Woody battling hard in midfield the ball found its way to Dagan who put it out to Ryan who played in a cross but was knocked out for a corner.

We took the lead from the resulting corner when it was played in with pace from Ryan and it went in off the defenders back. 0-1

With a couple other half chances from each team before the break the score remained the same at the interval 0-1 HT

Into the second half and the boys would have many chances to increase the lead, but unfortunately baba missed several golden chances which I'm sure he will be having nightmares about tonight.

With us not taking the chances we made it was always leaving the door open for Johner and with a low cut back striker Stu Beaddie made no
Mistake from 7 yards out.

Into the last few minutes and again a big chance for the away side but this time Dagan failed to hit the target. So the game would go to penalties. FT 1-1

With jamie stepping up to take ultimate penalty in the shootout, unfortunately dragging it wide and the home side got the extra bonus point. winning 6-5 on pens
