Satori-Do Shotokan Karate Academy teaches students of all ages from 5+ according to their ability, as everyone learns at different speeds. We train every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8:30pm in the church hall at St Martins on Westgate, Morecambe, LA4 4UZ (Near the William Mitchell pub). Some students take to karate straight away and progress well, others don't and take quite a while to get the idea of what they are doing and why...
everyone is different. So don't worry if you can't get to grips with the techniques straight away. To progress at a decent speed, training needs to be twice a week, this will ensure you are eligible to grade every 3 months. All our instructors are qualified and are extremely good at getting the best out of our students. Thankfully we don't need first aid very much as we are very health and safety conscious. We have no joining fee, just pay for the session on the night.
