Mermaid MADness! 🧜‍♀️🤿

Yesterday we spent the afternoon introducing some new mermaids to the water 🙌🌊

A little introduction session into basic free-diving breathing techniques and how to swim just like a mermaid… So much fun and lots of big smiles going into the weekend! 🤩❤️

What a week of achievements! 🙌 Another congratulations to Jodie, one of our amazing MAD Instructors, on completing her SSI Assistant Instructor Trainer qualification 💪🤩

Another big step forward in her SSI Professional journey and an incredible asset to our SSI IT dive centre team 🌊🤿 We can’t wait to carry on supporting the next generation of dive professionals in their diving careers! 🧡

Day 1 of our Instructor Training Course with Andrew and Emily 🙌🤩

Yesterday was the start of an intensive 9-days before their evaluation… the start of lots of classroom sessions, pool sessions and other training session ahead💪

Day 8 – The boat day that never happened 😆

After two attempts to make it out to Gabr El Bint, fate had other plans for us 🙈 The conditions just weren’t on our side, so we made the call to skip it.

But honestly? Some of the best moments on retreat come when plans change and we go with the flow ☺️🙌

Instead, we wrapped up with a super chilled shore dive, soaking up the sunshine, the sea, and some seriously good food ☀️🌊

Things don’t always go to plan — but there’s always a Plan B (or even C 😉). And that’s exactly what makes these retreats so special 🧡

Day 7 – The Bells Blue Hole 😍💪

Always one of the most exciting days on any of our retreats! Diving the Bells Blue Hole feels like exploring a piece of history—and it’s consistently ranked among the top dive sites in the world… we can definitely see why 🙌

A huge celebration for Sara, who absolutely smashed the dive 🥳👏

The day was filled with amazing food 😍 and even better company, before winding down in the evening by the dreamy lagoona. We enjoyed some delicious home-cooked Egyptian food and (slightly reluctant 😆) dips in the water 🌊
