The countdown is well and truly on, and preparations are in full swing behind the scenes. Here's the latest...

✈️ 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝'𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐦-𝐮𝐩𝐬!

A gaggle of the FS Record Event participants will be attempting to melt gracefully in this weekend's glorious weather for our 𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐦-𝐮𝐩 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝 before Cark Week.

I may have 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲'𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐬 to bring us up to the full PAC capacity. If you'd like to be considered, drop me (Merry Chris Mas) a message. It doesn't matter whether you're involved in the Record Attempts or not—we're always happy to welcome another comrade into the sky.

The official FS Record Event merchandise is currently being produced as we speak. The design will remain under wraps until 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤-𝐢𝐧... 👀

For everyone else (or anyone who inevitably decides they want another one), there'll also be a slightly tweaked 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤-𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 available to order after the event. Give me a little time to recover first...

No promises that the jumping will improve afterwards, but morale certainly will.

Joining us for the entire week will be the much-loved 𝐏𝐒 from Skydive Langar, flown by the one and only 𝐁𝐞𝐧.

PS will be with us 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, helping keep the loads turning and everyone doing what they came for...𝐣𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬.

🌤️ 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫...𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐢𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐬.

The second aircraft is there for 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 all week long, so whether you're chasing formations, CF, free-flying, angle flying, or just fancy making the most of the extra lift capacity, come along and get involved.

Throw in the friendly atmosphere, spectacular views across Morecambe Bay and the Lake District, on-site catering and a great crowd, and it's shaping up to be one of the best weeks of the summer.

🏕️ 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤!

We'll also have a 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐞 set up on the grass outside the café, giving us plenty of additional packing space.

On 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, it'll likely be reserved for the FS Record Event participants while we're running the record attempts. From 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬, it'll be open for everyone to use.

🐶 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲... 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐠.

Or, if your dog has a driving licence and your packing isn't finished, perhaps let the 𝐝𝐨𝐠 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮.

Either way... we expect to see at least one of you. No comment on who we'd prefer 😜🤭.

We're now only a short time away from what promises to be an awesome week of jumping, with the second aircraft on site, loads of FS, plenty of fun, and (fingers crossed) some great weather to top it all off.

For those taking part in the 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐅𝐒 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐬, I've just sent out an email containing a very short form for you to fill out by 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲.

Merry Chris Mas

Bank Holiday Weekend turned out to be an absolute blinder! 🤩

The Grand Prix Canopy Formation Meet One competition was a huge success — massive congratulations to our very own Wraptastic Team for bringing home 2 Gold Medals 🥇🥇. Thanks to the judges & Regan Tetlow for his entertaining interviews.

We also had some brilliant Big Way organising with Chris Massey, alongside AFF, student jumping, and tandems all running through the weekend.
To top it all off, the weather was amazing ☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make it happen!
