While the ladies played at Thatto one of gents played at the Ambleside festival. He was awarded master of the day after playing for 4 different teams and scoring a try in his green shorts. Massive congratulations from us all Derek

Player of the day - chosen by our wonderful ref for her speed and in defence was Laura Blenkharn sponsored by Clarkson Electrical Solutions Ltd
Laura was also our captain's choice
F***y of the day went to Lizzie McAdam-Musk sponsored by Bent Spines for tapping a tagged gold shorter rather than pulling her tags. Oops

Congrats to everyone who took part in the Women's Masters festival yesterday - it looks like there was a fantastic turnout!

How wonderful to see people reconnecting with the sport and continuing to keep their involvement going - let's have more of that, shall we?

Fabulous time had by all at Thatto Heath Crusaders Women’s Masters festival on Saturday. Supported by Sheffield Hawks Master we took to the pitch to play against Thatto in the first game coming out of the changing rooms with our little mascot. Absolutely great game with both teams making great drives and strong tackles.
Our second match was against Blackpool belles womans masters rugby league which is always a pleasure! They did manage to sneak one past us and Karen Gavaghan took out our Claire Pike shocking🤣.
We had an absolute blast and the festival was amazingly organised so thank you to all concerned in it.
