And again another great result in the Scottish cup

North Motherwell 3
Condorrat 1
A hard fought win for our boys today as conditions and going a man down early meant we had to dig deep for the result. After a scrappy start we go a man down after the ref judged leon stamped on their defender, the 10 men showed great character and got the breakthrough after a great ball from Olly sent Brodyn through which he got onto and played Jack in to slot home. Danny then kept the score at 1-0 with a couple of excellent saves.
Condorrat then get an equaliser after a corner doesn't get cleared.
Half time and we told the boys we need a massive 2nd half and they gave us exactly that, 1st up Danny pulls off possibly his best save so far to claw the ball away from what seemed a certain goal, then when we needed it up steps freddie to cut inside and bend the ball into the far corner, 2-1 North
With the boys fighting and scrapping for each other we get a free kick 30yards out which Justice thumps into the roof of the net. A few subs to replace the boys who had gave everything seen us play out a 3-1 win.
Excellent performance from every lad today and a special shout out to MOTM Danny for a few cracking saves and 1 unbelievable stop👏👏

NORTH MOTHERWELL 5
RIVERSIDE 2

We kicked off the second game of our league campaign in high confidence after 4 wins in our last 5 games and looking to continue this run of form. We break the deadlock early on after some lovely one touch passing in midfield into justice who lays it off on a tee for brody to smash into the top corner making it 1-0 to North Motherwell. Our second goal would not take long to come and after some brilliant close control dribbling from justice opened up the space, a nice pass into Tai, who places it perfectly into the top corner. However, riverside would get a goal back after a long ball over the had the striker one on one with the keeper where he just lifted it calmly over him to make it 2-1. After the slight setback we did not let it effect our game and we looked to get back our two goal advantage and it came through Justice who was played through sublimely with only the keeper to beat and he does giving us the advantage we wanted going into halftime. Again, Riverside were not for giving up and in almost identical fashion to their first, pull one back and look to pull off a comeback. Despite the riverside goal this did not stop North Motherwell as Samuel was subbed on and scored 2 great goals. After being put on a plate and he had to keep his composure which he did and scored two with one being from a great ball played through by Dom. This saw us win the game 5-2 to get another vital 3 points at the start of the season.

Man of the match- Samuel, was brought on and gave us exactly what we needed up top with the physical presence, the pace and 2 important goals.

Westerton 1 North Motherwell 5

The game kicked off with north Motherwell in full confidence after booking our place in the league cup semi final by topping our group and it showed after a free kick from Leon broke the deadlock. Almost immediately after Declan wins the penalty which Tai confidently put into the bottom left corner seeing north Motherwell go into halftime 2-0 up. North Motherwell continued the second half the way we finished the first with Olly playing it down the right hand side and cut it across to Brody who hit it into the the roof of the net. Westerton then found a goal from a penalty sending the keeper the wrong way. North Motherwell kept our composure and managed the game well in the latter stages of the game with Jack scoring a great goal from distance leaving the keeper with no chance and Leon finished the game after a great ball played into him leaving him 1 on 1 with the keeper that he was never going to miss.

Man of the match- Emmanuel, was a doubt for playing at all but after 2 paracetomol told us he'd start none the less and played an absolute blinder for the full 90
