📸 Behind the scenes peek at our ongoing upgrade work!

As you can see, the pitch work is in full swing, with Allgrass Turf Care giving a debut to some brand new machinery to bring our drainage back to full working order and get the pitch brought back to life all year round!

We’ve also enlisted L&P Property Maintenance to build this partition fence to help shelter our new mower and other bits and pieces from the elements (wouldn’t some advertising signage look great here? 👀).

Not to be overlooked, we’ve also installed our new birdhouse to start to compensate for some trees we had to chop down during the summer as they were blocking sunlight from getting to the pitch. Thanks to Nancy Campbell Ker for up-cycling it in our colours especially for us!

As well as improving our site, we’re very proud that this work continues to follow our club ethos of supporting local businesses and being environmentally aware. Watch this space for further updates in the coming weeks!

Dear gentle reader,

We find ourselves in the midst of the annual Overtown Parish Church scarecrow competition once again, and the village has excelled itself with its creativity.

Our chairman’s maw is our cunning creator again but has set sail for fairer climes, leaving the man himself to unveil her handiwork.

We look forward to seeing more creative characters appearing over the coming days all around BridgeOverton.

Yours truly,

Lady Castlehill
