🌟 Last Friday, our Young People's Panel came together for their residential weekend which was packed with learning, planning and plenty of fun!

The group spent time developing their leadership skills, sharing ideas for the season ahead and exploring how they can make a positive impact across the rowing community. They also tuned in to the Scottish Rowing AGM, gaining valuable insight into how the sport is shaped and governed.

A fantastic weekend of teamwork, discussion and inspiration. We can't wait to see what this brilliant group achieves this season! 🚣

A huge thank you to everyone at the Scottish Outdoor Education Centre for making us feel so welcome. Special thanks to Ivan for leading a brilliant programme of activities, and to the kitchen team for keeping us fuelled throughout the weekend with delicious food! 🙌

Growth, sporting success and a clear direction for the years ahead were at the heart of our 2026 Annual General Meeting.

Members and club representatives heard updates on our new strategy, membership growth, investment in the sport, competition and performance, safe sport, and the facilities challenges that remain.

We also welcomed Lindsay Flockhart to the Board as Director (Development), recognised Sophie McCall’s three years of service, and celebrated the outstanding people and organisations recognised through the Scottish Rowing Awards.

Thank you to everyone who attended, voted and contributed, including members of our Young People’s Panel who joined from their residential weekend.
