🌟 Last year’s Volunteer of the Year, Ian “Chalky” White, was recognised for his exceptional commitment to St Andrew Boat Club. Through his tireless work maintaining boats and equipment, and mentoring others in the Boatshed Team, he helped keep nearly 200 members rowing throughout the season.

💫 Just two years after taking up rowing, Amy Henderson was named Young Volunteer of the Year after contributing more than 200 hours of volunteering, supporting her club, helping at Scottish Rowing events and beginning her umpire training journey.

🌊Scottish Rowing Beach Sprint and Offshore Champs 🏆

Last weekend Scottish Rowing hosted the annual Beach Sprint and Offshore Championships, part of the Four Nations Series, at St Andrews - and what a weekend it was!

The conditions kept things exciting, while the athletes provided some exceptionally close fought and gritty racing.

WORLD ROWING CHAMPIONSHIPS 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴💪

The World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam is hotting up as we see crews today racing in Semi-Finals and Finals.

Dundee University BC’s Eleanor Brinkhoff is racing in the W4- Semi Final at 14:30 as the GB crew look book their place in Saturday’s A Final. James Robson brings Scottish interest in the M4- as he looks to build on the crews two Gold Medal’s in the World Cup series this year. The M4- race the Semi Final at 14:35.

For Ireland, Izzy Clements (Edinburgh Uni BC) will race the Semi Final of the W4x at 14:47. Fellow Edinburgh Uni BC grad James Doran will also represent Ireland today, racing the M4- C Final at 13:28.

Miles Beeson & Archie Drummond will be in action for GB later this week, racing the Men’s 8+ in Saturday’s Heats, leading into Sunday’s Semi and Final.
