Last night we hosted our annual 100 club and awards night.

A big thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and came down on the evening.🙌🙌🙌

1st team awards went to:
Batsman of the year - Divy
Bowler of the year - Walter
Player of the year - Nil

2nd team awards went to:
Batsman of the year - Jack S
Bowler of the year - James F
Player of the year - Phill L

Ladies awards went to:
Batsman of the year - Amelia S
Bowler of the year - Kim B
Most improved - Florence W

Congratulations to Jean for winning the grand prize of £1000 - Don’t spend it all at once.

Additionally, thank you to everyone who donated a prize for the evening, without you this whole thing wouldn’t be possible.

Some big thanks to Richard, Jemma, Kate, Becky and Ella for their hard work of the field making this whole season possible.

The hundred club is now less than 3 weeks away (Saturday 19th September) and we still have plenty of tickets available. Tickets are £35.

CRICKET COLLECTIVE AWARDS 2026:

We are looking forward to celebrating all the shortlisted nominees for our Cricket Collective Awards at our Celebration Event on Saturday 26th September.

The invitations have been sent and preparations are in full swing for an evening of inspiring stories, awards, food, networking and volunteer recognition.

Without volunteers, the recreational game simply doesn't function. That's why events like this are so important.

Over the coming weeks we will be announcing the nominees for each award category, and we start with Coach of the Year - a coach who goes above and beyond to inspire and develop players of all ages & abilities, creating a safe, inclusive and enjoyable learning environment.

The 1s take on Grimsby at home. After an excellent nail biting win at Bracebridge last week, the boys look to get another win and keep on climbing back up the table.

The 2s take on Newborough away this week. After a sublime win against Freiston last week with a great knock by the chairman who’s in the side again this week. Let’s hope this form continues so we can add another win to the bank.
