Chester Marathon race week is here! ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
Letโs take a look back at some of our Harriers who took on last yearโs Chester Marathon! โก๏ธ
This Sunday, weโve got Harriers taking on Chester Marathon, others tackling the Metric Marathon, and some heading further afield to take on the Chicago Marathon! ๐บ๐ธ
Good luck to everyone wherever youโre racing! ๐โค๏ธ
In her marathon debut, Victoria ran an outstanding time of 3:27:31! Paced brilliantly by Lewis, they both smashed it! Victoria is back racing Chester marathon this year. We have no doubt sheโll once again do herself and us as a club proud! Good luck Victoria!
Also returning to race Chester marathon this weekend is Peter. With his last long run behind him, this training block has seen some fast miles in Peteโs training runs. We have no doubt you will smash it! Good luck for Sunday!
No stranger to the marathon distance is Becky! Fresh from her brilliant performance at our challenging South Cheshire 20 whereby she ran a brilliant 2:50:23 and a 10 minute course PB! In great form & currently tapering for Dresden marathon in Germany, weโve no doubt Becky will deliver another brilliant performance!
Gearing up for Amsterdam marathon on 18th October, Andy is fresh from a great time of 2:34:48 at the South Cheshire 20, finishing 3rd in his age category! We think that personal best for the marathon distance is under serious threat!
A busy year of running for Sherrie! She has managed to PB in the 5K, 30K & full marathon distance at Boston in April this year in horrendous conditions where she ran a brilliant 3:54:21! We look forward to seeing what distance Sherrie conquers next in 2027!
