Three more pieces of the puzzle added!

​They couldn’t make it to last week's official sign-on day, but we are thrilled to welcome our players to the Nantyglo RFC U13s family!

​🙌 Welcome back to Jacob Phelps, who has re-signed for the 26/27 season!

👋 And a massive welcome to our two newest recruits, Rohan Windmill and Mason Phelps!

Watch this space for our final re-signing next week.

Down to the wire! ⏱️ Nantyglo RFC U13s sealed the victory today with a dramatic try and conversion on the very last play of the match! 🏉💥

​A massive shoutout to Rhymney RFC U13s for a hard-fought, brilliant game of rugby that went right to the final whistle. Good luck for the rest of your season—we’re already looking forward to the rematch! 🤝

​Beautiful weather, fantastic rugby, and watching the boys give it their all... exactly what weekends are all about. ☀️🙌

Both creating some excellent opportunities and working hard throughout the game.

It's a tradition at Nantyglo RFC for our young players to complete their official registration at the start of the season; however, holiday schedules resulted in a slight delay this year.

Today the majority of the team gathered together to review the code of conduct and official sign their agreement with the club, a few were away so watch this space for more exciting signings.

We are please to introduce you to the 2026 - 2027 U13s squad.

Nantyglo RFC U13's had a tough game today against a very well drilled Abergavenny side... not the result we wanted but plenty to take away.

Well done to Harri for Forward of the game and Jac for Back of the game.

Well 1st game of the season was away to Talywain RFC u13s. The Glo U13 were a few players down due to injury and being away, so a last minute reshuffle was needed.

Lucky we have a few versatile players who can play in various positions, including switching from backs to back row.

Unfortunately after a close battle Talywain just edged away with a 15 -10 win.

It could have easily swung the other way through.

It was a great 1st season run out after a tough preseason with the hard ground conditions impacting contact sessions.

Players of the day today was hard a hard one as they guys worked incredibly hard, making it a difficult decision to narrow it to a forward and a back.

So for today the decision was split in the forwards we had Jessie Jones & Jacob Langford playing 6 and 7 for their work rate linespeed and tackling.

In the backs we had Dylan Windham playing 10 for his tackling rate and game play, and then finally we had Travis Singleton at 12 for his tackling and ball carrying.

Special mentions to Osian Sturdy for some good hits and also two of our new players Rohan Windmill and Olie Williams (Olie's 1st game).

Plenty to take away into training Wednesday and then bring to the field next week against a tough Abergavenny U13 side.

Nantyglo RFC U13's would like to wish our Man of Iron Thomas Morgan a happy 12th Birthday.... it has been an incredibly tough year for young Thomas and his family.

But throughout it all Thomas has shown incredible strength, courage and resistance 💪 and is an inspiration to us all.

We wish him all the best for his 12th birthday in the morning.

We are looking forward to seeing him back on the field where he belongs with his Nantyglo Rfc family ❤️.

Stay strong 💪 and keep smashing it mate, love from us all at the Club.
