Skewen Under 10s Rugby Team

The team headed over to Victory Jiu Jitsu Neath last night for their taster session on the mats 🥋

Boys really enjoyed themselves, in a session full of energy and transferrable skills.

However, some moves were best left on the mats ahead of the new season 👀🤣

The team make a short trip to our local neighbours up Parc Mawr this afternoon, for the Bonymaen RFC Mini & Junior Rugby Festival 🏉

The boys are excited ahead of their first outing of the season, with plenty of hard work put in over the Summer 💥

Coaches, Management, Parents, Siblings and wider family members are all excited to spectate, in what's trusted to be a typical Welsh Summer 👀🤣

Feel free to join us and cheer on the team if you have no plans, as we wish the boys all the very best.

Our third tour as a team and they just keep getting bigger and better!

Traitors, backstabbing friends, pleading innocence was all part of it, not forgetting the kangaroo court and fancy dress.

Thank you to all the boys who continue to make Skewen proud, to the coaches for all their efforts, to the parents for taking part and helping make our rugby family so special and to the siblings for always being there and making memories together.

Everyone at Skewen RFC would like to congratulate our players on their selection for Neath Schoolboys U11s for the upcoming season.

A special mention goes to our five current U10 players who have been selected to play a year up – a fantastic achievement and a testament to their hard work, dedication and talent.

To be selected at this level is a huge honour and reflects not only the commitment of the boys, but also the support from their families and coaches throughout the season.
