Dear Karate Family,
​We are excited to share some fantastic updates from across our clubs this past week. We have had incredible grading successes at both our Rhos and Cimla Dojos!

⭐️​Rhos Dojo Highlights
A huge congratulations to Brook and Theon on achieving their 8th Kyu Yellow Belts. Both demonstrated exceptional form and composure throughout their examination—a particularly remarkable effort from Theon, who powered through despite feeling under the weather!

⭐️​Cimla Dojo Highlights
​Noor and Sahar earned their 9th Kyu Red Belts. For their first-ever grading, they displayed outstanding focus, spirit, and grit, proving they have what it takes to excel in martial arts.
​Shrey stepped up for his next milestone and delivered a flawless performance to earn his Orange Belt, showcasing true confidence and refined technique.

Huge congratulations to Noah on earning his 8th Kyu Yellow Belt with a 1st class pass! 🟡🥋

​Passing a grading test takes real focus, discipline, and grit, and Noah showed all three on the mat. He might be one of our quieter martial artists, but his determination speaks volumes. He listens intently, processes every instruction, and applies it to his movement with impressive precision. It is a absolute pleasure watching him learn and grow at his own steady, thoughtful pace.

​There is something truly special about seeing a family share the martial arts path. Following in the footsteps of his dad and big brother, Noah is stepping onto a trail already blazed with hard work and dedication. Having family members on the same journey isn't just about sharing a sport—it’s about built-in training partners, shared encouragement, and having a team that truly understands every triumph and every challenge. When a family supports each other in training, every achievement belongs to the whole team, lifting everyone higher.

Double Success at Cimla! 🥋✨

​What an absolutely spectacular night at our Cimla class! Two of our wonderful sisters stepped up to the mat for their Kihon Karate Wales gradings, and they completely blew us all away.

​Luna’s Breakthrough: From Gentle to Powerful 🌟
​First up to the mat was our lovely Luna, grading for her 8th Kyu Yellow Belt. Luna is the heart and soul of our class community—always bringing the brightest smiles, a joyful laugh, and a wonderfully gentle, sweet energy to training. But tonight, she showed us a whole new side to her martial arts journey!
​When the grading started, Luna tapped into an incredible reservoir of focus, unleashing phenomenal power and strength through her basics and sparring. She channeled her energy beautifully and absolutely smashed her grading, earning a well-deserved First Class Pass! We are so incredibly proud of you, Luna!

​Cheyenne’s Masterclass: Precision and Focus 🔥
​Next up, grading in her own session, was Cheyenne, aiming for her 6th Kyu Green Belt. Having seen her sister’s success, Cheyenne stepped up to the challenge with that classic, healthy sibling rivalry that drives us all to be our best!
​Cheyenne brings a beautifully focused, methodical, and stoic approach to her karate. She plays her cards close to her chest and lets her technique do the talking. Tonight, she gave a absolute masterclass in technical precision, demonstrating a fearless, calm, and deeply determined fighting mindset without even breaking a sweat. With a brilliant, no-nonsense performance, Cheyenne secured her own First Class Pass!

​A Force to be Reckoned With! 💪

​Together, these two sisters are an absolute dream team. They support each other, push each other, and tonight, they both showed everyone exactly what they are capable of.

This wasn't just a victory; it was a masterclass in pure dominance. Sofia fought her way to the very top of the podium with a jaw-dropping, flawless record: 6-0 in each round.
