🏆Brierfield Celtic Devils Match Report 🏆

This week we saw a away day to Clitheroe Wolves Blacks.

We wanted to continue the momentum from last week and the boys responded with a fast start and strong defending from the front with the lads behind backing them up. Our passing game for the first half was exactly what we had been working on in the last few training sessions and was rewarded with a good few goals. When we did lose the ball our sweeper keeper Ernie ensured nothing got passed straight out of the blocks clearing anything everything.

Second half the boys continued with the hard work being a constant threat hitting the posts and had chances we should of took but as the power play came into play the boys began to tire having to mark more players and we conceeded a couple of goals from mistakes but saw the game out to win.

We just need to work on how to make the most of indirect freekicks and ensuring we keep stuck to the opposition on set pieces.

As a group they are bonding well together with the boys giving each other support and advice from the sides. Keep it up !

🏆Brierfield Celtic Devils Match Report 🏆

This week we saw a return to Readstone United.

Last time we played we had a slow start and conceded some fast goals but this week the team was switched on raring to go with a goal in the first minute and was the story throughout.

The team played well as a whole just a couple of things to iron out in training.

Alot of smiles even when we had to make substitutions and everyone enjoyed it.

Keep up the hard work boys it pays off in the end
