Ultra light fishing is a brilliant style of angling that more people should try. Light tackle, fine lines and small lures. Making every take feel like a proper event, and it's a great way to target species like perch, trout and bass without needing a barrow load of gear.

We've recently greatly expanded our ultra light range here at Loni's, so there's plenty to browse whether you're just getting started or looking to improve what you're already using. Pop in for a chat and we'll point you in the right direction — between us we've got more than enough knowledge to help you get the most out of it.

Loni's Beach Match Series is back at Steamer Point. We've lined up 4 evening matches: 14th and 28th October, then 11th and 25th November. It's £25 for series entry plus £5 per match. The matches will be pegged matches, have bait supplied and a 100% payout. The fish caught are to be measured then released. Fishing times will be 8pm - 11pm. What's not to like? Give us a ring on 01425 616323 or pop into the shop to get yourself booked in, spaces are limited so don't hang around. A full set of match rules will be given to entrants.
