What can I say about Lenny Valler… where do I even start? ❤️🥊
When we got offered a fight against my ex-coach Charlie Rumbol’s boxer, we knew we had a challenge on our hands.
We know how much he’d improved over the last 2–3 months. It was always going to be a tough fight—but one we believed we could win. 🔥🥵
From that moment, the work started. Double sessions three times a week, plus strength & conditioning every Sunday morning. Lenny left no stone unturned and went into this bout fitter, stronger and more prepared than ever against a lad who was already 1–0.
For a first fight, the composure you showed was unbelievable. You boxed with maturity beyond your years, put your combinations together brilliantly, picked your shots, and never rushed your work. That’s something you don’t see at a young age and especially a first bout boy!!
I’m so proud of you little bro. ❤️🥊
People don’t always realise how much courage it takes to step into the ring in front of 300–400 people. It’s hard enough for grown men, never mind a 13-year-old having his very first bout.
The draw wasn’t the result Lenny wanted, and straight after the fight he said in his interview that he wants to run it back. That’s the mindset of a fighter. Whenever they’re ready, we’re ready. We only want genuine 50/50 fights that bring the best out of our boxers. 👊
Massive respect to Romeo and his team—they played their part in what was one of the fights of the night. Nothing but respect. 🤝🥊
This is only the beginning for Lenny. The future is bright. 💥🥊
