Today is a big day for Newark Roses Netball Club.

What started as an idea a long time ago has finally become real. After months of training, hard work and building together as a team, today Roses Red and Roses White take to the court for our first ever league games as a new club.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped us get here. Our committee, coaches, parents, umpires, volunteers and, of course, every single one of our players.

We also want to recognise the support we have received through partnership working and funding, which has helped us develop the club and create these opportunities for our players.

A special thank you to our club sponsor, Fosse Accounting, for supporting Newark Roses and being part of our journey from the beginning. Please support the businesses that support grassroots sport and give Fosse Accounting a follow and keep them in mind for your accounting needs.

A huge thank you to Nottingham Forest Netball and the Amex Super Shot Fund for including Newark Roses Netball Club in this year’s community projects.

As a brand new club, support like this makes a real difference. It means we can invest in the things that help us grow, from equipment and coaching to giving more people in Newark the chance to pick up a ball and get on court.

The 2026/27 season is here 🌹

We finally mark the beginning of Newark Roses Netball Club’s very first season competing in the Nottingham County League.

It feels like a huge moment for us. What started as an idea has quickly grown into two squads, a brilliant group of players and a club we are incredibly proud to be building together.

We have had so much support already from players, families, friends and everyone who has backed Roses from the beginning. Now the fixtures are out and we would love to have that same support behind us throughout our first season.

Both Roses Red and Roses White begin their season Saturday, 12th September, and we cannot wait to finally get started.

Here’s to our first season, plenty of netball and seeing what this group can achieve together.
