We would politely ask that if you know you are not re-enrolling next term you could let us know by the end of THIS WEEK - Sunday 20th September. 🙌

Unfortunately, if you don't let us know by the end of this week there will be an admin charge of one lesson fee. 👍

The timetable takes a lot of work and time, so letting us know early does really help. 😊

🦈💙 A little guide to our viewing area! 💙🦈

We’re so lucky to have a comfortable viewing area off poolside, giving you the perfect spot to sit back, relax and watch your little shark swim! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

To help make it enjoyable for everyone, here are a few simple viewing-area rules:

🍎 Please don’t leave food lying around
Let’s keep food and snacks off the floor and surfaces.

🧹 Keep it tidy
Please leave the area as you’d like to find it.

👨‍👩‍👧 MAXIMUM 2 adults per viewing area
This helps make sure everyone gets a clear view of their child swimming.

🪑 Siblings — thank you for being flexible!
If seats are needed for adults, siblings should either sit on an adult’s knee or move further back so everyone can see.

💙 Be respectful
We’re all here to support our little swimmers, so please be considerate of other families.

🗑️ Use the bin provided
Pop your rubbish in the bin and help us keep our viewing area lovely!

⚠️ POLITE REMINDER! ⚠️

🚫 ⛔ NO CHEWING GUM IN THE POOL AREA, PLEASE!⛔ 🚫

We know a little reminder never hurts, so here’s why we ask everyone to leave chewing gum at home:

🏊‍♀️ Health & Safety
Chewing gum while swimming or taking part in lessons can be a choking hazard, particularly for our little swimmers. We want everyone to be able to focus on having fun and learning safely.

🧼 Keeping our facilities clean
Gum that gets dropped or stuck to floors, benches or poolside areas is difficult to remove and can quickly make our lovely facilities look untidy.

👣 A cleaner, safer poolside
Keeping food and chewing gum away from the pool area helps us maintain a clean, hygienic and enjoyable environment for all our swimmers and families.

💙 We work hard to keep our pool and facilities clean, safe and welcoming — and we really appreciate your help in keeping them that way!

🥽 STARTING BABY SWIMMING LESSONS WITH US? 🦈💦

We’re so excited to welcome you and your little one to the pool! 💙

Before your first lesson, here’s a quick reminder of what you’ll need:

🩲 A swim nappy
🩱 A Happy Nappy
👶 Swimming costume, swimsuit or shorts

And don’t worry about your little one getting cold — our pool is heated to a lovely 33°C, so it’s nice and warm for them! 🥰💦

👩‍🍼 A little tip for grown-ups…

We recommend arriving swim-ready wherever possible, with your swimming attire already on underneath your clothes. And for afterwards, loose, easy-to-put-on clothing is definitely your friend! 😂

It makes getting changed after your lesson so much quicker and easier.

🧺 A few important reminders

🛑 Please don’t bring pushchairs into the changing area.

👀 Spectators are very welcome, but we politely ask that they remain in the designated viewing area.

📦 Please use the clear boxes provided to store your clothes and belongings, and take these out of the changing rooms once you’re ready.

🚪 Most importantly, please leave the changing area clear and tidy for the next family. 💙

We know those first few swimming lessons can feel like a lot to remember, so hopefully this helps! 🥰

Although some of you may not be back to school, swimming restarts tomorrow. The summer has sure flown by and we hope you are all rested and ready for another fantastic term! ☀️ 💪

We have had a VERY busy summer break here at HQ - lessons galore, splash session in abundance and a few cheeky parties thrown in there to keep us on our toes! Busy, but we wouldn't change it. 😁

We look forward to welcoming everyone back through our doors and having another amazing term being part of !! 😁

🥽 LESSONS! 🥽

We get asked ALL the time… “Do you offer trial lessons?” 👀

The short answer is… not usually! 💙

And there’s a really good reason why…

We find that little swimmers often need more than ONE lesson to settle into a new environment, get to know their teacher and feel comfortable trying something new. 🥰

Think about it… when your little one starts nursery or school, their teacher has hours and hours with them each week to build that trust, rapport and bond.

At Speedy Sharks, we have just 30 minutes! 🦈

So, judging how a child will feel about swimming — or how they’ll progress — based on one 30-minute lesson simply isn’t a fair reflection of what they’re capable of. 💦

We wholeheartedly believe in the process we’ve developed here at Speedy Sharks, and we’re9 incredibly lucky to have a team who believe in it just as much as we do. 💙

So, sometimes, the biggest thing we ask from parents is simply…

TRUST THE PROCESS. 🥰🦈

We know that building confidence, trust and a love of swimming takes time — and we promise, it’s worth it! 💦

We completely understand that sometimes you just want to give it a go and see what your little one thinks!

That’s why we offer ADHOC LESSONS during the school holidays! 🎉🏊‍♀️

When children are learning to swim, we really do feel that a well-fitting pair of goggles can be an invaluable part of their swimming kit. 👀💦

Goggles can help little swimmers feel more comfortable in the water, see clearly when practising underwater skills and, most importantly, build their confidence and independence. 💙

If your child is in one of our independent lessons, we offer a TRY BEFORE YOU BUY option! 🙌

Your little one can try our goggles in the pool to make sure they fit comfortably, stay in place and are suitable for them before you buy.
