We get asked often if we offer trials, and generally we don’t!
Children need more than one class to see if they enjoy something, and especially younger ones often take more than a week to settle into a new environment.
We also don’t believe it’s fair on our current students to have numerous children coming and going when sometimes parents don’t intend to commit.

However with next week being our last of the term, it’s a perfect time to try a class for just the weekly class price (normally classes are paid half termly) we have a few spaces next week for preschool ballet Monday, Wednesday or Saturday morning or Friday acrotots, where children are welcome to try for £3.30. If they then enjoy it they are then very welcome to join us in the new term in September!

Spaces are VERY limited so booking is essential. 🩵

And there’s still time to join us to be involved, all classes (apart from parent&toddler, acrotots and BALLet fit) are involved in our annual show at the beautiful Palace Theatre, the best stage in Newark to give dancers lifelong memories!

As we approach the end of term (2 weeks left!) and enquiries are coming in for September, I just thought I’d reintroduce myself and the school! If you’ve contacted us recently please check your junk mail as I’ve replied to everyone and I’ll be contacting lots of you on our waiting lists this week.

Miss Charlotte has been teaching dance for 14 years and danced over 30 years!!! I trained at MADD and The Centre PAC completing ISTD DDE’s in ballet, tap and modern and DDP in musical theatre, freelancing for many state and private schools as well dance schools, then running my first school in 2016 in Kent.
When I bought the school in Balderton in 2021, I decided to complete further IDTA qualifications going back to the syllabus I grew up with and now hold licentiates in ballet, theatrecraft, contemporary modern jazz, freestyle and am currently taking my fellowship ballet, the highest qualification the IDTA offer. I am also Acrobatic Arts Certified.

I believe dance should be for all and as well as running my school, work with local primary schools and nurseries to offer classes.
Dance brings so many benefits, confidence, discipline, creativity, fitness, friendships!

We offer core classes of ballet, theatrecraft and tap, with optional acro classes. We also have acrotots classes and adult tap and BALLet fit classes!

I’m in the studio everyday, but when I’m not dancing am spending time with my 2 little boys and forever have a renovation project at home! 🩵

From school age acro is an optional extra class for those who take our core classes, as we believe dance technique is vital for safe and confident acro progression!

We have a new class starting for new school starters on a Tuesday after school from September, and have a couple of spaces in our current classes if any students who take ballet/theatrecraft/tap classes with us would like to try acro too!

We also have acrotots Friday mornings, open to any children age 2-4 years, full of action songs, rolls, handstands, jumps and fun! 🤸
