JSB Swim

Happy new year! We continue delivering quality swim lessons to this area. We only have 1 or 2 free slots if anyone’s interested. This term our pool theme is ‘Down at the jungle ……’

We’ve had another productive year here at jsbswim at all levels, culminating in all important survival swimming.
We have a few spaces left for holiday swimming.
From September we still have some daytime baby/toddler lessons.

Last week a lot of our swimmers took part in a sponsored swim here to raise money for Charlotte’s home to be altered to meet her special requirements due to her disability. About 150 took part aged from babies upwards. In total they swam over 14 kilometres. Money is still coming in but so far we have about £2000. Thank you everybody who took part and who donated money.

We hope everyone has had a good summer with plenty of swimming fun.
Lessons resume this Monday 4/9 for a 7 week course. The theme is “Ugly Bug Ball”.

Badges have now been completed. This course we are focussing on water safety and summer water fun 😃☀️💦

Delilah is making excellent progress with Lucinda. She’s improving confidence and developing skills whilst having fun😃

Looking forwards to see you at our next 6 week course “Down at the Jungle”.
We shall be doing badges as soon as we start back.
After that we shall be looking at summer survival skills in water. See you next week 💦😃

We are taking bookings now for intense swim lessons over the Easter holidays if anyone is interested 💦

We are running intense swim lessons here during half term Monday 13/2 to Thursday 16/2 if anyone is interested. We also have a handful of daytime slots for 2/3 year olds. Jackie 😃💦

We hope you have all had a good Christmas, and are looking forwards to a good 2023 with lots of enjoyable swimming and improved water confidence.

We sadly say goodbye to one of our teachers Ronnie who is leaving us after many years of great teaching here. We welcome Jasmine who will be taking on most of Ronnies’ baby and toddler classes, as well as Lucinda who will be helping out too.
