At the weekend the Revolution went on their first ever tour. They travelled up to Lincoln on the Friday had an amazing night out "team bonding" (and we'll leave it at that 🤣).

On Saturday they arrived at Lincoln Ladies RFC where the host club put on a party and BBQ and the following day they had a game of 7's rugby. Coco Gallone bagged herself a try and Heloise Richards was Newbold's player of the day :)

Under the beautiful Northamptonshire sunshine at the final Inner Warrior fixture of the season, Newbold Revolution teamed up with Broadstreet for an exciting, fast paced encounter against Daventry Valkyries & Old Northamptonians.

Playing alongside the more experienced Broadstreet players clearly lifted Revolution’s game, with confidence growing as the match unfolded.

A historic moment in the second half when Coco Gallone, playing in the back row, burst down the wing to score the first ever try by a Newbold Revolution player. A landmark moment that felt like a flag planted on new ground. ❤️🖤

Despite the scoreline, Daventry’s attitude never wavered and they were fully deserving of their try, continuing to play with determination and spirit throughout. They were also wonderful hosts, rounding off a fantastic day of rugby.

A performance to be proud of by all of the girls today and a fitting end to what has been a fantastic debut season for Newbold Revolution.

Our Inner Warrior 8 fixture at Daventry ends in victory

Today marks our final Inner Warrior Series fixture of the season and what a journey it’s been for Newbold Revolution in our debut year.

At Inner Warrior 1, we had just one representative pulling on the boots.
Today, we have seven players taking the field, with a season high of eight at Inner Warrior 6.

Growth, commitment, and a whole lot of heart. ❤️🖤

As a club, Newbold RFC are incredibly proud of how far this group has come in such a short time.

Last night the girls were excused from training as they headed over to the Sky Blue Tavern in Coventry to support our captain Jas as she prepares for her UWCB fight on Saturday 🥊

Jas found out her opponent and had a face off while the rest of the gang supported her and obviously had a few laughs while doing so!

Great to see the support for each other just as strong off the pitch as on it!
