Not every part of a gap year looks the way you expect.

Cambodia has a way of surprising you at every turn.

Angkor Wat does something to you - standing inside a temple complex that’s withstood the test of time, there’s a stillness that helps you reflect.

Then offering gifts to monks at sunrise, in a country where faith and ritual are woven into everyday life. 🌅

These are the moments our participants carry home with them.

A gap year can take you anywhere, but the best ones take you somewhere that actually needs you.

Education can change everything and in the rural communities surrounding Arusha, access to it can make all the difference.

We’ve been running workshops, supporting learning and getting stuck into projects that address some of the real challenges faced by the people who live here everyday. We’re not just passing through, but genuinely contributing to something that continues long after the return flight.

None of this would be possible without the incredible FutureSense Foundation whose dedication to creating lasting impact here is at the heart of everything we do in Tanzania.

Tanzania is home to some of the most epic wildlife on the planet. For our participants, this isn’t just a safari, it’s part of something bigger.

🦓 Congributing to large animal conservation
🗻 Gaining hands on experience in wildlife research
🇹🇿 Spending time in ecosystems that most people only ever see in a documentary

There’s something about being this close to an elephant that just quiets everything down.

📍Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai is one of those places that genuinely shifts something in you. Founded by Lek Chailert - who has spent her life fighting for elephant welfare in Thailand and beyond. The love and dedication here is in every corner of the sanctuary 🫶

Lek spoke about how all of our dreams are possible, and that every single one of us has the power to make an impact. Coming from someone who has dedicated her life to proving exactly that, it really landed.

Thank you to Lek and our incredible participants for showing up with such open hearts. Days like this don’t get forgotten 🙏

There’s something about seeing someone encounter an elephant for the first time..🐘

The smiles and the quiet realisation that they’re sharing space with truly extraordinary creatures.

We’re so grateful to Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai for welcoming our participants so warmly. A sanctuary built on decades of rescue, rehabilitation and genuine love for these animals - the work they do here is honestly something else 🥹

Experiences none of them will forget.
