So, at Kart Silverstone for Round 3 of the Elite Karting Series Northern Championship (Round 6 National). As mentioned yesterday, we'll be sharing the circuit with the SRK Championship on the Alternate/Loop layout.
Our format today: Practice w/ single-shot , before 4x 8 minute ... It's gonna be frantic.

With some poor championship results of late, I'm itching to get my season back on track at Kart Silverstone . One plus point is being back in the upper split in the weight class... Here's hoping I can justify staying there now 😬
It's gonna be a long day, as the Elite Karting Series is taking turns on circuit with the SRK Championship, something I don't recall happening between separate series before (any EKL veterans who know different, please enlighten me 😊)

So, that went well 😳
R1: Qualifed P9, Finished P2 (P3 on the road)
R2: Start P3, Finished P2 (almost a win🤏)
R3: Start & finish P3 (P1 on track, but 5s for being too close on the )

Overall, 2nd in the class, missing the overall win by 4pts. The small details matter a lot in this game, but I'm still really happy with another result!
So, it begins again... Round 6 of the Elite Karting Series Northern Championship, back in Daytona Tamworth's fleet.
Here's hoping it goes better than my previous visit 🤞
