This upcoming season will be the 80th season in our clubs history, it’s a season we will take great pride in celebrating, over the coming season we will be posting past and present photos and stories

It’s a great achievement and without the dedication and effort of countless volunteers it would not have been possible, whilst we share content we may not be able to reach all the former players, coaches, managers and members so please like, share and tag people into the posts

Up The Stant

Thanks to Stone Old Alleynians Football Club for tonight’s friendly, another great test for the lads and valuable minutes in the legs, the game finished 4-3 to the away side after a last minute winner

Tonight we welcome Stone Old Alleynians to Bradwell In what will be a tough pre season work out for the lads, getting valuable minutes in the legs before the season begins next month

A couple of changes to our pre season fixtures -

Our game against FC41 will now take place on the 4th July to save a potential clash of England’s World Cup game

Our game against Dawley Town has been called off, we will instead be hosting Stone Old Alleynians

Wolstanton United Football Club would like to welcome our new manager Kieran Garratt, for the past few season Kieran has been part of Market Drayton’s management team. We feel he will be a great addition to the club and fits our values, Kieran will be joined by his assistant Ben Dawson. Everyone associated with Wolstanton wishes them both every success

Statement from Kieran Below -

‘It is an honour to be given the opportunity to manage such a an established and highly thought of football club.
The chats I have had with the chairman and everyone involved in the football club so far have been great and they have shown me how there is a fantastic community feel around the place.
Myself and Ben cannot wait to get started properly and build on what is an already an exciting and talented squad, ready to challenge for titles next season.’

Matt Rogalski has officially stepped down as Wolstanton United manager

Everyone at Wolstanton United would like to thank him for his time and effort not only during his brief spell as manager but for the 15 years he’s spent with the club as a player, Rogger stepped in last season as a short term solution to oversee the transition of an older squad, whilst the season started off slow due to the fresh faces and younger, less experienced players we soon pulled it together and the squad and he leaves behind a great squad for the incoming manager

Rogger will be continuing with the club in a committee position and who knows once he’s bored of golf we may convince him to get back on the pitch
