This has taken a while. A long while. All my dogs have helped with the laundry and retrieve-to-hand is the basis of so many things I do with my dogs, from competition to film work. Getting to know your puppy is so important when it comes to training. Our retrieve-to-hand has been built on a strong foundation of trust (Frisbee, like a lot of terriers, doesn’t like to share). Learning what is really reinforcing to him (tug and winning the toy) and finally, time, practice and lots of short lessons in various different contexts. And about three weeks ago, it clicked. To celebrate graduating from the Good Citizen Puppy Foundation award course with we went for brunch , visited the store in & even managed some off leash follow and wait training. Despite the teenage hormones flowing, he’s still the best little muppet.

We're asking for one final push. 2 weeks left, 3,000 signatures to go.
