Even for those who have the knowledge to navigate the waters it can be very beneficial to have someone to help guide you through the process. Trying to see a goal through can be a little stressful when the planning and decision making is taking away from your ability to knuckle down and execute β

A great example is this awesome competition prep from our very own which I was very privileged to be a part of. My role in creating accountability and aiding decision making meant Ben had more room to just do the do and bring his best package. Will we see him hit the stage again? Hopefully next time weβll do more researching on tanning and not ruin the final look as badly. Lessons learnt π
Ben will be playing a similar role in my prep this time round and I know itβll help me bring out my best in the same way π

Smashing stuff from over these last 20 weeks! In this first phase weβve added some solid tissue through providing a more structured and systematic approach to Anthonyβs protocols along with the accountability and support to keep things ticking smoothly π
It hasnβt been straightforward. A few of these weeks were spent completely unable to train due to time in the hospital but I think that makes this all the more impressive! Anthonyβs efforts have been well reflected ππΌ
As with many of my current clients, we created a system of effective protocols with some new strategies and integrated it incrementally, ensuring Anthony could get the most from the least and the changes are sustainable π

Been waiting a little while to pop this one up due to the rebrand etc. But hereβs a little update on .hodgkinson since what you last saw of the diet phase. We did this to quickly lean down and put us in a great place to see through a productive gaining phase which weβre now well into (pic is of 4 months progress from back in November), now back up at the weight we started but with a way better composition ππΌ canβt wait to reveal more soon!
Sean knows what heβs doing and is one of the few other coaches I fully back π€ With being busy and involved in his own projects however, having accountability and structured plans from and I to carry out and check in on has given him greater means to see through this period of awesome progress πͺπΌ

Protein intake is a very low hanging fruit to make your progress much more efficient! There are lots of benefits to eating a high protein diet so thereβs a good chance youβd be better off for increasing your intake π
Many studies have looked into the effects of protein intake on body composition and they all seem to point towards higher intakes being favourable for improving your physique, both in regards to gaining muscle and losing fat. Ideally, weβd recommend consuming 2.2-2.6g/kg of bodyweight for those looking to optimise the physique development process, though this will vary based on many more factors π
