We’re delighted to see one of our Tyneside Sharks members, Seth, take another step forward in his badminton journey after being selected to represent St Gabriels in the Northumberland leagues this season.

Seth has spent the past three seasons developing his game with Tyneside Sharks, gaining experience through regular coaching and competitive opportunities before progressing into senior club badminton.

Creating opportunities for young players to develop and progress is at the heart of what we do, and it’s fantastic to see that pathway in action.

Keep playing throughout the off-season with our popular Summer Club, running every Thursday from 7 May – 27 August, 5–7PM.

Open to all junior players, with each session featuring a mix of coaching and match play in a fun, welcoming environment.

The first sessions will be available to book from Thursday 30 April via MyCourts. Sessions will then be released weekly, one week in advance.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Summer Club sessions this year - we hope you enjoyed being on court with us. We’re delighted to announce that membership for the upcoming season is now open to all juniors.

For just £130 for the year, players will benefit from two training sessions each week, along with expert coaching, club events, matches, and plenty of opportunities to develop their skills and be part of the Sharks community.

Members of the Tyneside Sharks Badminton Club are invited to the End of Season Awards Night, on Satutday 17 May.

The event will be a celebration of the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our club's members throughout this hugely succesful and record-breaking season.

The day promises to be filled with excitement and camaraderie, beginning with a whole club games session, 3-5PM, where players have the opportunity engage in friendly matches with their fellow members.

Following the games, we will transition into the highlight of the day, the official awards ceremony, where we will honor and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our members, 5-7PM.
