Westerhope Utd FC U10 Yellows

Hi everyone.

Been very quiet on here recently but last night we had our end of season presentation.

Awards went to the following;

Most improved
Harry and tyler

Players player
Bobby

Parents player
Gaffa

Top goal scorer
Owen

Coaches player
Aaron

Player of the year
Sam H

They all fully deserved their trophies as well.

On a sad note the will be led bye a new coach(s). Not been told officially who is taking them on yet but Paul Howell mark gaffney and my self will be hanging up our coaching coats for the forceable due to work commitments.

For myself i have loved and allways will love coaching but need to think about my self these next few years.

We were the first team in Westerhope United Football Club and i can say the best club in the NE it keeps growing and growing with a great chairman and team behind him.
We went from league 7/8 to league 3 winning tournaments topping tables but most of all creating a great atmosphere in growing the young lads into the future footballer.

The team name will still go on and hopefully hand all this over where they can keep you all informed of how the get on.

Our number 1 safe hands Harry had an opportunity of a life time when his best mate invited to sit with him in the exec area at the toon v fulham game. He only managed to bag wilocks shirt as well. Buzzing for him and a huge thank you to mark hewitson especially harper for giving her ticket (and family) @ The Canny Cod for giving him this opportunity. We appreciate it greatly. Were back. Its been a bit quiet due to not much to report but mainly i lost my phone and had no ability to update on the socials.

Today we had our first gane for a while. It didnt go our way however the lads have grown so much in accepting a defeat. But the way they olayed did not need to be a defeat. They done so well considering. A great oerformance from them all but a special mention to aaron the rock. Ran his socks off put in some amazing tackles ran the wing caused havoc and had his best game. Well done in receiving the MOTM buddy.
