🔥 Technique of the Week – The Low Leg Kick 🔥 The low leg kick is a powerful and effective strike that targets an opponent’s legs to disrupt balance, limit movement, and set up follow-up attacks. 💥 Why Use It? ✅ Breaks an opponent’s stance – A well-placed kick can weaken their base and force them off balance. ✅ Slows down aggressive fighters – Taking out their legs makes it harder for them to move or attack. ✅ Great for setting up combinations – Once their movement is compromised, follow-up strikes become easier! 🥋 How to Execute a Strong Low Leg Kick: 1️⃣ Pivot & Rotate – Turn your hips and shoulders to generate power. 2️⃣ Target the thigh or calf– Aim for the opponent’s lead leg to maximize impact. 3️⃣ Strike with the shin – Avoid using your foot; the shin delivers stronger impact. 4️⃣ Reset quickly – After landing the kick, return to your stance to stay ready for follow-ups. Used correctly, the low leg kick is an excellent tool to control the fight and wear down an opponent over time.
