Only 3 weeks to go until our very 1st Bingo and Bubbles night! Tickets have nearly sold out, there is literally only 2 or 3 left so if you have been thinking about coming along and putting it off, now is your chance to grab the last few tickets!

You don't have to be a member to join in this event.

The club will still be open to members as usual on the night but please be warned there will be loud music, flashing lights and lots of singing and dancing will be had 😀

Hi all,

Last week we were approached by Tyne Tees TV wanting to do a feature on the increase in popularity of Snooker and the problems faced by Clubs in recent years with keeping the doors open and attracting new members.

Obviously this would need someone to be the "face" of the Club which, as you'll all agree, immediately ruled me straight out.

So, it was our Chairman and resident Silver Fox, Alex who agreed to be the one they interviewed.

We've been told we're going out on 10th June at 6pm on the local news.

On a positive note, this can only benefit the Club as it may well attract new members who were unaware the Club even existed.

So, get your popcorn ready, buy a new tape and set your VHS recorders in anticipation of this televisual feast !

For the younger members, we'll apparently be on a thing called ITV X and YouTube too.

Don't forget we are now open on Monday nights if you want a quieter night to get your snooker fix!

Also now that the snooker season has finished for another year, all 3 snooker tables are back open on a Tuesday night until the season starts again in October.

What more options can you have to play your favourite game 😊

Sports night on Friday 29th May is a friendly round robin competition consisting of darts, pool, putting and ring toss. Prizes to be won!

Our next quiz night is on Saturday 30th May. Only £1 per person to enter, teams up to 6 players. Play Your Cards Right jackpot will be over £180!!!
