A Brilliant start for Westerhope, facing higher opposition Forest Hall, Ponteland Rockets, North Sunderland and Westerhope Golds.

The Greens moving to nine a side with Bobby Pope back in sharp form after the busy preseason. Our defensive duo Harry Burn and Joseph Trippier keeping the ship tight at the back.

Our central midfield trio Lincoln Guimaraes, Logan Tonali and Jack Gordon working there magic assisting our world class attack team of Tom Murphy, Frankey Gordon and Charlie Isak.

Greens moved quickly in the transfer market over the preseason. Free agents Max Schar and Harrison Livramento adding further strength to our defence with attackers Jaime Barnes and Jackson Willock signing from Walker and Golds to boost our attack after a great season. Welcome to the team!

A double header the last few days, playing Cramlington Blue Star FC home and away on Friday and Sunday.

Facing a full strength Blakelaw Inter FC in the last outing between both teams in the season.

Westerhope missing 3 players today with the lads playing the full 50 minutes.

An outstanding performance from our attackers Charlie, Frankey and Tom keeping the Blakelaw defence busy over the course of the game.

Defensive stalwarts Harry and Joseph keeping a tight ship at the back with Logan Guimaraes manning the central midfield.

Another Sunday fixture this week playing Heaton Hawks Falcons, with Heaton taking the lead 1-0 at half time.

An outstanding comeback by Westerhope in second half with goals galore at Benfield, Westerhope racking in the goals in a wind swept fixture, with Heaton adding a consolation goal at the end of the game.

Outstanding team work by all the lads today making it two wins from two against the Falcons this season.

A cracking game for Westerhopes return to the Valley View Stadium the 1st game back on home turf in the new season.

Blakelaw Inter FC today's opponents, the first meeting between both sides in the league. A close competive game with Westerhope taking all 3 points! A scorcer of a free kick by Blakelaw to deny Westerhope a cleansheet.

Our 1st Game in 2024.

It's been quiet of late due to the weather causing our games to be cancelled.

The Greens made a winning start in the first game of 2024, playing an expierenced Heaton Hawks side.

Westerhope Greens Under 10s, played a blinder with a full strength team.

Bobby Pope between the sticks kept the Heaton attackers at bay.

Our defensive trio Harry, Joseph and Perri manning the Hawks attack .Tom, Jack, Charlie, Lincoln, Frankey and Logan with some brilliant set pieces and not forgetting some of the wonder goals!

Another solid performance by the team running out winners in the 1st Round!

The team carried out a minutes silence in memory of football Legend Sir Bobby Charlton. A fitting tribute playing against his home town team ⚽️🟢
