🏆Defensive ROTY🏆 - Jake Harper

Jake might be in his first year with the Renegades, but his 3 years experience in High School American Football in the States has truly shone through in his rookie season. Yet another one of our fierce linebacker core, Jake has excelled in shutting down the run and hitting the opposition offence with some fantastically powerful tackles, steering any hopeful runners well clear of his patch of grass. Don’t let that cute and cuddly exterior fool you, this boy could level any opponent, and we look forward to seeing nothing but more of the same in the upcoming seasons.

🏆Offensive ROTY🏆 - Joel Nicoll

Joel came to the Renegades at the start of the year a complete stranger to American Football, but has since taken to the sport like a fish to water. From an impressively early point in the season, Joel was using his speed, agility and power to cause havoc for opposition defences. His explosive running and innate ability to extend a play has earned him the praises of opposition coaches on several occasions, and of course this well deserved award. We look forward to what more he can bring us in the future.

🏆Offensive MIP🏆 - Ben Gardiner

Ben has stepped up this year not only as a leader of the running back room, but of the offence, bringing an unmatched dedication and enthusiasm to his time on the pitch. His 3rd year with the team has seen him excel in several positions, using his extensive depth of playbook knowledge to not only raise his game, but also the game of those around him. All of these traits set him up beautifully to take on the role of President, as he leads us into the 26/27 season.

🏆Defensive MIP🏆 - Hakeem Hadjah

Since transitioning to linebacker from running back halfway through last season, Hakeem has brought his speed, power and agility to an already intimidating defensive unit. He became a staple in the defence and a nightmare for opposition running backs, leading through explosive plays and undisputed determination. An excellent candidate for this award, whose presence will be missed next season.
