Koromiko - Physiotherapy and Cancer Rehabilitation

I had a really interesting weekend learning lots more about scars and scar therapy. Excited to be able to implement these new skills in my sessions with clients ✨

Almost 2 weeks in Wellington already! Lots of coffee, blue skies, walks and catch ups 🤍
Started working again with this week and just focusing on getting into the swing of things ☀️ (…and get used to all the hills and steps again! 😅)

Hi Everyone 👋🏼
I’ve been pretty quiet on here recently as it’s been a busy few months with a lot of change going on! I will have told many of you this already, but for those I haven’t, Koromiko Physiotherapy is taking an extended break! I’m going back to New Zealand! Yes I’m mad but I’m a sucker for an opportunity and one has come up which, despite being a very tough decision, was too hard to say no to!

It does mean that over the recent weeks I’ve left the wonderful shed and said some very difficult ‘see you laters’ (not goodbyes) to so many gorgeous people!

I’d like to thank all those who visited me at the shed as clients, and to everyone who has offered kind words, messages, emails, gifts etc, they all mean a lot ☺️

So what’s next.. Koromiko Physiotherapy as my business may be back one day. I’ll put a vote out on my stories and if you want to be kept up to date with my Physio journey then let me know and I’ll make a few tweaks to this page to keep things active until, one day, Koromiko makes a return ☺️

I can’t believe we are in May already! I’ve been very quiet on here but things have been very busy! I’m taking some well needed time off over the coming months so have limited appointments in both May and June, so if you want to get booked in then please do get in touch ASAP!

Travelling back after a busy day with the team. I’ve been working with the team online but it was great to finally meet everyone in person. The team of people in this photo are inspirational and so passionate about what they do. They’ve already supported so many people affected by cancer to continue or return to exercise after their diagnosis. There was so much energy in the room and the ideas discussed for the future were so exciting. I’m thrilled to be a part of the next step in their journey ✨

Busy day yesterday meeting everyone at the first face to face networking event for the North East.
It was an amazing opportunity to be able to talk more about the online rehabilitation programme for 13-30 year olds affected by cancer, and also great to learn about all the amazing charities and resources available in the area.
I met some wonderful people alongside some familiar faces
Thanks to the organisers for all their hard work 👏

Thanks to all the hard work from , we are now offering an extra Movement Class to those affected by Cancer.
There will now be 2 classes running from their new space on a Tuesday evening 6-7pm and 7-8pm.
The first of these classes will be starting on Tuesday 26th September.
