A huge thank you to our 2025/26 Captains, Ally and Alison, for their service to Northumberland Golf Club this past year 👏

They gave their parting words as Captains at the Captain’s Farewell Party this week, especially wishing their successors Rob and Louise all the very best as they drive in at the club tomorrow!

It was a double win for the Scotsmen today in the Calcutta Cup! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏆

Despite the inclement weather we’ve all endured recently, it was an excellent effort from our head greenkeeper Jordan and his team, to have the course playable today 👏

At the end of play, Team Scotland were victorious with a 12-6 win, coupled with the 31-20 Six Nations victory over England this afternoon! 🏉

We’re sure Captain Ally MacDonald will be very happy with the result this evening 👀🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A huge thanks to for his time today, providing his professional insight and excellent service to all those who attended!

It was a pleasure to have Northumberland Men’s County squad players at the club yesterday, and it’s brilliant to see top the leaderboard at the end of play with a magnificent 62!

We’re looking forward to welcoming the Men and Senior County squads back here at Northumberland, for another warm up match on Sunday 1st March.

As we look forward to some exciting dining experiences over the next month here at Northumberland, we have to take a minute to appreciate the culinary artwork on show from our Head Chef Jimmy.

The photos that feature here are snippets from our Middle Eastern and French nights, and it’s no wonder that both events were very well received by our members.

We are certainly looking forward to seeing what Jimmy has to offer at the upcoming Burns Night tomorrow and his ‘Fine Dining’ experience in February, and would recommend keeping an eye out for more of his themed events in the future!
