A huge congratulations to our Men’s Newcastle & District league team who won the league title tonight with a final game win against the City of Newcastle! 🏆

Northumberland went into the match 6 points ahead of Arcot Hall, meaning a 7-5 win would be enough to secure the league…

So it was an extra special night for our players to finish off a wonderful season, with all six of them claiming victories to seal a 12-0 win! 🏆

The N&D Player of the Season was also awarded this evening to Northumberland’s Gary Parsons, who fended off his own team mates to take the title after another solid 6&5 win! 🐐

It’s been a fantastic year for our Captain Rob Macleod, who shared his delight by thanking all of his squad players and all the support that was shown to him tonight and throughout the entirety of the season! 👏

Honoured to be hosting this prestigious event today. We know some excellent golf will be on display. We hope you enjoy the course and all our facilities. We look forward to welcoming you all ⛳️

A timely return to form for David Clark of Morpeth Golf Club who lifted the £3000 winners cheque in the professional event, scoring a 4 under par score of 40 points
