It’s with a very heavy heart that today, we are announcing the closure of Hardwood Ventures.
We played our best offence, and hustled hard on defence, leaving it all out there on the court. We hit shots, and we missed shots. We drafted a solid core team, and were lucky enough to pick up assists from lots of amazing people along the way. But that off balance, 3-point clutch play, to beat the buzzer and win the game, just wasn’t to be. And as we all know, that’s basketball.
We want to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years, we couldn’t have achieved what we did without you. We’re proud of the basketball community that’s growing in strength all around the country, and hope that we will still be able to be part of that in some other capacity, but for now, from myself (Emma), Chris, Joe and all the team at HV - ✌🏻❤️🏀
