This is an interesting study. If anyone really practices Tai Chi properly, they will understand why Tai Chi is an amazing art that will for sure improve one's health. Like the article suggested, Tai chi promotes relaxing hormones that help to lower blood pressure. The other thing I like to add is that the slow control connecting movements promote opening of joins and lengthening of muscles as well as stimulates the production of lean body mass because Tai Chi is strength training, it requires participants to have muscle endurance while muscles are lengthening rather than constantly contracting.

Christmas Greetings from the UK
I don't know how it is for you, but Christmas is a very special celebration for me and my family. It's a time when we gather together to share food, gifts and renew bonds. But it's not always easy to do that. We often fall out with their families amid the increased financial and emotional stress - or we miss loved ones we've lost. It can make Christmas a season of sadness and loneliness.

Read a post somewhere last week I found funny. It said why does Tai Chi practioners wear shinny PJs? Is it to hide secrets so you can't tell what's going on. He suggested that it should be done in tight clothing. I have put together a couple of clips of Tai chi, one in tight gym outfit and the other in loose clothing. The Chinese believes in the three treasures. Shen, Jing & Qi. Let's start with the easy one, Qi, it's energy, life source, breath. One's Life style can either deplete and replenish Qi. Jing, is the intention ( the thought) to have a life style that will replenish Qi, in my opinion one doesn't need intention to diminish qi. Shen, is the emotions from the heart and mind that can steer the intention. In short, the Chinese believes without Shen, you have no intention, without intention you lack qi. Tai Chi practice isn't just a physical training but first an foremost training of the mind. Tai chi practice develops Shen, Jing and Qi. Why the three treasures? It's the essence of vitality. One of the challenges most people will encounter when doing the snake creeping through the grass is unable to keep the back upright, classic problem, body leaning forward, bum lift up, sinking into Dantient out of the window.
