I’ve never been someone who talks about doing things before they’ve happened 🤷🏼♀️.
I hate it when people tell everyone what they’re going to do and then it never actually happens.
This has been in my head for a long time- since my dad died, really.
He built something of his own back home, and I always knew that one day I wanted to do the same. N11 is that.
It’s my chance to put everything I’ve learned over the last decade in the Middle East into something in Newcastle.
To take the standards, the coaching, the lessons, the mistakes and the experience, and build something of my own with it.

The last week has shown me that I really do have 2 places to call home and I am so grateful for all the support and opportunities I get from both sides of the world 🌍💛.
This wasn’t what I expected but sometimes the universe has different plans for us. Trusting the timing- I’ll be back super soon 🇶🇦 🤟🏻

The fitness industry nowadays is a big and confusing world of loud voices and heavy sexy marketing trying to sell you everything and anything people can think of to do with fitness.
Things that have been around years are getting packaged differently and becoming viral trends.
As a coach it is often hard to stay true to what you believe in when clients are constantly coming to you with things they see on social media.
Stay away from the noise, choose a program and stick to it consistently, eat well and be patient. The basics are still undefeated 🤟🏻

May in 🇬🇧
Long evenings. Mum. Friends. BBQs. Cake. Too much cake. Ok waaayy too much cake. Rediscovered walks and coffee shops. Meetings. Coaching. 28 degrees and suddenly everyone remembering how good life can feel here ☀️ .
Summer in the UK is nostalgic. This break has given me time to slow down and reconnect with the parts of myself that got lost somewhere between airports, running at full throttle 25/7 and losing perspective of what actually mattered to me in the first place 🤟🏻

Nowadays it’s become more normal to have unhealthy habits than healthy ones but, healthy habits also seem to have stopped being allowed to just… exist 🤷🏼♀️
Everything has to optimise you, improve you, track something, burn something, mean something. I honestly find it exhausting 🥱
Sometimes it’s not necessary or the healthiest to be constantly trying to maximise our performance in every aspect of our life.
People always ask me what I’m training for.
Truthfully? The majority of the time- nothing.
I’ve trained my whole life. Not because I’m chasing a PB or a certain percentage of body fat, I train because I enjoy it 🙃. I like how it makes me feel, moving my body clears my head and being fit and strong just feels great!
Sometimes a walk is just a walk 🚶🏻♀️, training is just training, eating well is just enjoying nutritious food 🥗.
Not everything has to become self improvement.
Sometimes you can just do things because they make you feel good 🤟🏻

Somewhere along the way, looking after yourself and your wellbeing became something people feel the need to excuse themselves for 🤷🏼♀️.
Like eating well needs a disclaimer and going to the gym needs justification.
I am very comfortable and confident in my training and eating habits and yet I still know that around certain people I feel pressured to eat in a different way to how I usually would. I still feel that I shouldn’t be training and moving how I love to.
I find it unimaginable that smoking, drinking, eating fast food, sitting all day and being hungover all weekend is considered more normal than getting sunlight, moving your body and fuelling well with healthy food.
Healthy habits aren’t extreme.
They just look extreme in a world that’s bar for health standards is set ridiculously low 🤟🏻
